How to Judge Dasha Period Will be Good or Bad in Astrology :- The moment when you were born in this earth that day, time & place are very important to create vedic birth chart , divisional chart, kp chart & through analysis of all these charts you’ll get all details prediction of your running & upcoming time period will be good or bad in your life. Every person in their life must be always going through planetary time period as per astrology from day 1 to till end , they are called Planetary Mahadasha , Antar dasha , Pratyantardasha & Sookshma Dasha time period , These dasha always gets activated by your moon’s nakshatra lord planet at the time when you were born in your birth place.

Most useful dasha system in astrology is Vimshottari dasha system , as name suggests the complete cycle of dasha for human being is 120 years, it’s nakshatra based dasha system activated by your moon nakshatra lord at the time your birth , we have total 9 planets & 27 nakshatras are controlled by 9 planets in astrology & Planetery dasha will follow this order as given in this list.

> Your moon’s nakshatra lord planet is your first starting Mahadasha.
> Your moon’s sub nakshatra lord planet is called first Antardasha.
> Your moon’s sub sub nakshatra lord planet is called your first starting Pratyantardasha.

Planetary Vimshottari dasha follow the given order in the above table means after Ketu mahadasha Venus mahadasha will come after that sun, moon, mars… similarly after Ketu antardasha / Pratyantardasha/ Sookshma dasha Venus will come after that sun, moon, mars, Rahu …to complete the cycle.

Native will get recent upcoming result based on only respective running dasha planet condition out of total 9 planets. So, You should always give importance only on your running dasha planet condition because these dasha planets are active to give you result & others all are inactive as per rule in astrology.

Now based on planetary house placement condition, planet will give good or bad result in their respective dasha period but question is how to judge or steps to finding your planetary mahadasha, antardasha, pratyantardasha period will be good or bad that is the actual topic.

Judging your Running & Upcoming Planetary Dasha period will good or bad :-

Step 1> You need to look at the position of your dasha planets in your birth chart. If Running dasha planet is placed in exalted or debilitated or friendly or enemy sign based on that you’ll get good or bad or mixed result that is the basic rule –
> Exalted planet will give – good result.
> Debilitated planet will give – bad result.
> Ownsign , moolatrikona sign , friendly sign planet will give – good result
> Enemy sign placement or afflicted planet will give – bad result.
> Raj yoga, Neech bhanga raj yoga, Dhan yoga created planets will give – good result.
> Vipreet raj yoga , Parivartan yoga can give – good or bad result based on it’s placement condition.
> Malefic Planets in upachaya houses will give – good result better with time.

These are the basic rules as per astrology but practically it’s not necessary that you’ll get same result as described means it may happens that you’ve exalted planet in your chart but actually you got bad result in that exalted planet dasha period , similarly for others . The most important portion is the kp astrology rules , for easy purpose just simply check your running dasha planet’s nakshatra condition that will help you a lot , why I’m telling these – our first dasha gets activated by moon nakshatra , sub nakshatra , sub sub nakshatra these you’ll find from moon degree , similarly whatever planetary dasha period you are running now just simply check that dasha planets degree condition means that dasha planets nakshatra, sub nakshatra condition that will give you details picture of your running events that you can cross check month & year wise.

Step 2> If your dasha planets are functional malefic according to your ascendant (functional malefic planets are the only planets whose moolatrikona sign controls 6th or 8th or 12th house) then that planetary dasha period you’ll face some sort of problem except if that planet gets exalted or placed friendly sign in trikona or Kendra houses give mixed result or in upachaya houses can give good result better with time.

Step 3> If your dasha lords are functional benefic according to your ascendant ie if that dasha planet lord controls your 1st or 5th or 9th house of birth chart or any one of your 1st , 4th , 7th , 10th kendra house then that planet dasha you’ll get good result. If any planet is controlling your 1st house as well as dustana house(6th or 8th or 12th ) then this planet will not consider as malefic or bad but remember that planet must signify atleast one 11th houses in kp cuspal chart through star & sub.

Step 4> If your dasha lords are free from any malefic aspect & conjunction, can only give his own house signficant & placement result, if dasha lord is placed in Kendra or trikona from ascendant then good result if 6, 8 , 12 from ascendant then bad but again that good or bad will be confirmed by it’s starlord house placement from that house event will happen & it’s upa nakshatra lord house placement will decide the result will be good or bad.

Step 5> If your dasha lord is signifying 2 , 11 houses in cuspal chart & also exalted in kendra or trikona house then it’ll give extremely good result.

If Dasha lord signify –
> 2 , 10 , 11- good for career & earning huge amount of money through own professional (Saturn, sun , Rahu, 10th lord & 10th cusp upa nakshatra lord)
> 2 , 6 , 10 , 11 – good for career specially job service .
> 2 , 7 , 10 , 11 –good for business career.
> 2 , 7 , 11 – good for marriage & relationship with your spouse(venus) .
> 2 , 5 , 7 , 11 – good for love marriage & relationship with your spouse(7th lord & venus) .
> 4 , 11 , 12 – purchasing land property(mars) even car(venus & mercury).
> 8 , 11 – inheritance asset.
> 4 , 8 , 11 – inheritance land property
> 2 , 11 – family assets , very good for earning & savings huge amount of wealth & money
> 3 , 9 , 12 with 11 – foreign land settlement (moon , mercury , rahu).
> 2 , 4 , 5 , 9 , 11 – good education (Jupiter , mercury).
> 3 , 5 , 10 – selling property
> 6 , 8, 12 – all time bad , health diseases problem , bad career .
> 5 , 8 , 12 – you’ll lose in the competition
> 2 , 5 , 11 – child birth (Jupiter main karka)
> 1 , 4 , 10 with 6 , 8 , 12 – child birth problem
> 1 , 6 , 10 – divorce , bad marriage life
> 1 , 5 , 9 , 11 – recovery from health diseases.

Step 6> If that dasha lord is debilitated in Divisional chart like D9,D10 & D3 chart can create problem later in his time period.

Step 7> If that dasha lord is exalted or in friendly rashi sign but antardasha/ pratyantardasha lord is in enemy sign & it’s 6th/8th/12th place from main mahadasha lord then it can create problem in your life at that time period.

Step 8> If that dasha lord is exalted or friendly sign but antardasha/ pratyantardasha lord is in friendly sign or exalted & its kendra or trikona place from dasha lord & also signifying 11th house will give good result at that time period.

Step 9> If that dasha lord is exalted or friendly sign but antardasha/ pratyantardasha lord is debilitated & its 3rd or 11th place from dasha lord give mixed result because antardasha/ pratyantardasha lord is in upachaya house(batter with time).

Step 10> If Dasha planet signify kp significant houses – mixed of kendra or trikona with dustana house then he’ll give mixed result.

————————How to judge Antardasha/ Pratyantardasha ——————–
Step 11> always switch your dasha lord in 1st house & from that 1st house see where is your antardasha / pratyantardasha lord placed in which house if antardasha / pratyantardasha lord in kendra or trikona from dasha lord & in good sign & kp house significant houses 2 , 11 , 1,4,7,10 or 1,5,9 then they will give you good result but if dasha lord kp significant houses shows – 1,4,7,10 or 1,9,5 but antardasha / pratyantardasha lord kp significant houses shows – 6,8,12 then that antardasha / pratyantardasha period you’ll get bad result.

Step 12> Malefic planets is exalted in trikona but if controls your dustana house not always give good result at their dasha period except if it sigify – 2 , 11 house as per kp then it’ll give good result.

Step 13> If your mahadasha/antardasha / Pratyantar dasha lord is exalted but if that planet is influenced by malefic then the good result will decrease & if signify 6 , 8 , 12 houses then very bad result.

Step 14> If kendra house lord in kendra house not necessary that planet will always give good result , if that planet is placed in dagdha rashi / controlling dagdha rasi then it can create problem in his dasha period confirmed by it’s placement in divisional chart specially D9 , D3 , D27 , D60 chart.

Step 15> If dasha planets are creating any kind of planetary war or with function malefic in any house that can create problem in their dasha period.

Step 16> If functional malefic dasha lord planet is placed in upchaya house then it’ll give good result better with time depends on his house placement rasi sign condition means that planet kp significator houses if signify 11 house then good if 6 , 8 , 12 then bad.

Step 17> Something will definitely happen related with your health/destiny good or bad when you’ll be going through of your lagna lord and Atma karka planet dasha period. Good or bad depends on their house placement means if their kp significator houses – 1 , 5 , 9 , 11 then good health , if 6 , 8 , 12 then bad.

Step 18> When you’ll be going through Amatya karka planet dasha period something related with career will definitely happen. Good or bad depends on that planet house placment condition means if kp significator houses – 2 , 10 , 11 then good , if 6 , 8 , 12 then bad.

Step 19> After checking all these points last you need to check the level of getting result intensity or strength wise – for that you need to check your running or upcoming dasha lord planets house placement condition in D9 & D27 chart that planet should not be debilitated or afflicted by malefic planet then strength wise that planet is weak & if the house where dasha planet is placed in your birth chart that house got less than 28 sarvashtakavarga points & if that dasha planet has given less than 4 bhinnashtakavarga points then it confirms that that dasha is very weak can’t able to give good result but if that dasha planet is placed in friendly sig or exalted in D9 , D27 chart & the house where dasha planet is placed in your birth chart if that house got more than 30 sarvashatavarga points & that dasha planet has given more than 4 bhinnashtakavarga points then that dasha planets are very strong to give you good result.
